AvFab adds King Air 300 and 350 series aircraft to STC and FAA-PMA approval for aft jump seat kits
Clinton, MO – September 3, 2003 – AvFab (Aviation Fabricators) has recently added King Air 300 and 350 series aircraft to their STC and FAA-PMA approval for the manufacture and sale of Beechcraft King Air Aft Jump Seat kits with respective installation packages. AvFab’s kits and installation packages are directly interchangeable with OEM kits and hardware, although none are required. In addition, all series of the 100, 200, and 300 versions of the King Air are now covered under the STC.
The seats not only improve the King Air’s cabin utility, but AvFab’s kit sells for 40% or 54% off the OEM list price, which ranges typically from $24,600 to $36,000. In addition, there are no extra-long lead times with the kits, as AvFab’s products normally feature only a two-week lead-time. AvFab’s STC-approved kits are direct replacements for the Beech 101-4003-X kits (100 and 200 series) and the 101-4046-X kits (300 series).
AvFab’s kit contains everything the OEM kit comprises, including seats, oxygen drop-down system, occupant restraint system, and all attaching pieces and parts. For those aircraft that may have been previously equipped with the OEM installation kit and hardware, the AvFab Aft Jump Seats may be purchased separately and will drop right in.
